Pacific Aquafarms, Inc. (PAF) has been in business
for 29 years. The location was selected in this isolated site because of the unique geothermal water.
The water is from geothermal wells that produce 140 degrees F water which allows keeping ideal temperature for year-round
growth of fish. The farm uses a combination of semi intensive ½ acre ponds and very intensive 40
ft. tanks to rear the fish. PAF began producing Tilapia for the live markets. Recently
we have added catfish, silver carp and hybrid striped bass.Due
to our unique water supply and isolated site we limit the possibility of contaminates from outside water supplies and nearby
farming, thus creating ideal growing conditions for the fish.We supply fish year round to the live food markets in the Los Angeles/San Diego areas and certain fish-out
lakes. Production is close to two millon lb. a year.
